How to Control Anxiety – 3 Easy Steps


Anxiety can be inconvenient at best and debilitating at worst.  Here I talk about how I got my anxiety under control and got my life back.

I remember it clearly, I was chopping veg in the kitchen when out of nowhere came a full on panic attack. This one didn’t even have a trigger!

My heart started beating so fast I thought it would pop out of my chest.

I went completely light headed gripping to the work surface for support.

My head was swimming – i could hardly see what was in front of me, let alone how to get one foot in front of the other so I could find a seat….

It was the worst attack I had experienced, and I knew I had to get control of it before it took over my life.

I had experienced various levels of anxiety since having my children.  Sadly they were usually the trigger.

Sometimes they just had to call my name and I could feel a tightness in my chest.

It made my fuse incredibly short, and it made me snap at these two precious little boys who I loved so much.

In the end I put out a plea on Facebook to see if anybody could give me advice.

You see, I did not want to go down the anti-depressant route.  I was desperate to do this by more holistic means.

Luckily I knew a few alternative practitioners and this was the most life changing piece of information I was given.

I couldn’t really believe that it could have such a simple fix, but I took the advice given to me.

Within two weeks, I felt better!

Two short weeks, I was no longer a prisoner of my anxiety.

12 minutes a day should be easy to squeeze in 🙂
